Imam Siraj leads Asr, Maghrib and Isha, the afternoon, sunset and night prayers, from Monday to Saturday. He also leads the Friday congregation.
He is headteacher of the maktab, the masjid’s school for children. He knows the major fields of Islamic learning and the different schools of law, and works in Arabic.
He is known here for being gentle and even-handed.
