ٱللَّٰه
All you need to do is say the Shahada
The Shahada is two short lines you say out loud, and believe. That is what makes you a Muslim.
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ
Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah
I bear witness that there is no god but God.
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah
And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
Join us at the masjid
You’re always welcome at the masjid, whether you’ve said the Shahada or not. Our imams can answer your questions and help you get started. We can also put you in touch with groups and other new Muslims who will support you.
