When someone in your family dies, the masjid can offer you support.
Families often ask about this first. The masjid is small, with no mortuary and no facilities for ghusl, the washing of the body before burial.

The funeral prayer
The masjid can hold the janazah salah, the prayer Muslims say for someone who has died.
A small gathering
The masjid can hold a small gathering after one of the daily prayers, as a condolence and a prayer for the person who died. We agree the prayer with you at the time.
