Time and commitment
Being a trustee of SCMA is an honour and a serious responsibility. Trustees govern the charity, the role asks for time, care and attention through the year.
The Working Committee runs the masjid day to day; the trustees oversee it. We are looking for people who can weigh a decision carefully, act fairly when views differ, and put the masjid's interests first. Experience of governance and charity work would be an advantage.
Deadline for submissions
If you wish to stand, submit your nomination by 11 PM on Thursday 10th September 2026.
How to apply
Complete the nomination form. You'll need two members to nominate you, and a short personal statement. Successful nomination leads to an enhanced DBS check, which the form asks you to agree to before you send it.
