About these dates

White days

23–25 Nov

The 13th, 14th and 15th of each month in the Islamic calendar. It is recommended to fast on these three days.

Next solar eclipse

2 Aug 2027

It is recommended to mark a solar eclipse with a short prayer of two units (rak’ahs). Praying together at the masjid is better, though you can pray alone, and the prayer carries on until the sun is bright again. The recitation stays quiet.
